Tested the video engine last weekend, and while for the most part it ran quite well, I ran into one odd bug. I have my system set to display a slide show on audio only files. I also loaded a bunch of graphics into the sampler to play as well (the slideshow is just a generic image - not something I want on constantly). With one audio file playing, and a video file cued up, this worked without problem.
BUT....
As soon as I loaded an audio file onto the second deck, the slide show would override the sampler. I couldn't get the sampler back on. Load a video file on the second deck - boom - sampler turns back on.
Definitely a bug - interested if anyone has a work around.

The whole structure of the video output and empty monitor windows needs attention, not just on this one problem, I guess the complete video sampler set up will be looked at when it gets to the top of the to do list, but these problems I guess are keeping a lot of the guys from migrating over from V7.
