It is not possible to close Virtual DJ, i tried the close button in different skins, also ALT-F4. Nothing happens.
When i kill the Virtual DJ process with Taskmanager all settings are lost.
I'm not very sure, but i think that used to work until the last update.

So, its some setting that prevents VirtualDJ from shutting down properly ? Which sound card/controller do you use ? Does VirtualDJ close properly if this sound card is not selected/connected ?
Any chance your computer account/user doesnt have write permissions to the settings.xml or the /VirtualDj folder ?

deleting the settings.xml solved the problem - at least for the moment
