as the title suggests, can we have an option somewhere to keep the release version if beta is installed so if there is a problem (like the recent cdg bug) we can roll back quicker..

The public build is always available at the Download page .. http://www.virtualdj.com/download/index.html
So if for any reason the beta has a bug you can still roll back easily.
But as the previous user posted, its always safer and much quicker if you backup the exe file.
