Topic: Need VirtualDJ 8 build 1845 or higher, for my Denon MC 3000

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

My Denon MC3000 controller will not map (work) with the Special download: Mac OS X install_virtualdj_osx_v8.0.1745.pkg 30 MB provided in my account licenses.

I am using a MAC and have a PRO license.

Told by support, I need VirtualDJ 8 build 1845 or higher, however, don't have it listed in my licenses.

Does anyone know, can tell me or assist me in obtaining build 1845 or higher?

My Denon MC3000 works fine with my VirtualDJ7.

Worked fine up to now with the VirtualDJ8 (osx_v8.0.1745) Since about a week now, my Denon MC 3000 does not recognize VirtualDJ8 anymore.

Help?

Looks like I have the 1878 now didn't have it yesterday. However still will not read the Denon MC 3000. Will try to install VDJ 8 and reinstall again...for the xxx time.

Support said it should work with the build 1878. no go.

enabled the "Get Beta Build" under my account so VDJ will update your build 1878 to 1897.

Got the build 1897 to load. MC 3000 Controller is working, however, still can not get the controller to illuminate the buttons(cue, loops, effects) or illuminate the channel level meters.

In most cases a bad USB cable can cause this behavior.

Use the same USB cable when I switch back to VDJ7 and all works fine. But I'll try anything and change out the USB cable and see what happens.
