Hi, i am a user of virtual DJ 8 home free
I run it on windows 8
And i found a following issue
1) I opened Virtual DJ 8 home free
2) I switched virtual DJ to 4 deck mode
3) I loaded a song on deck 3
4) I played the song
5) I changed back to 2 deck mode
6) The song kept playing
7) when i click the SPACE button it plays and pauses the song

That isn't an issue that is by design.

The 2 Decks skin is always showing the Left and the Right selected decks. So if you had loaded a track on deck 3 , but have not made it Left Deck, then yes switching to the 2 decks version , it will not show you that track.
If you wish to still be able to control the other deck, you can have a keyboard shortcut or a custom button assigned as ..
deck 1 leftdeck ? deck 3 leftdeck : deck 1 leftdeck (which will swap the Left decks) and
another one as ..
deck 2 rightdeck ? deck 4 rightdeck : deck 2 rightdeck (which will swap the Right decks)
That way you will be able to control all 4 decks, even with the 2 Decks skin.
also keep in mind that version 8, is not muting the other 2 decks, as version 7 was doing. and thats of course a good thing to have, just in case deck 3 is playing out live and you switched to a 2 decks skin. You wouldnt want the audio to be muted, right ?

thanks for that info djdad, invisible decks feel's like it has much workaround wriggle room
