Hello i am having some real performance issues with my ddj sx it works perfectly with my serato dj im having the following issues scratch not smooth,transitions are not on beat even when manually cuing them up to make SURE they will be. just seems like a performance issue in general.
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THERE PIONEER DDJ SX AND VDJ 8??

There is somewhere in the manual of the DDJ-SX in Utilities Mode a way to increase the Jog Midi Interval By default, If not mistaken, its set very low (around 3-4ms). I would suggest to set it to a higher value (around 6-8ms). It will definitely help performance.

also try in vdj options to disable touchwheelbackwardspin .. (set to "no"), and even forwardspin if you want to try that too...
This will make the "start up" or release more instant, sacrificing the backwards spin feature.. but if you dont use that no loss.
Sort of cant have both .. If you want no "lag" on the scratch release, try the above and see if you feel thats better
