1828 is currently in Beta.
If you have beta builds selected in advanced config of VDJ then you should get it. Otherwise you won't.

I have had beta builds enabled since last week (or earlier) and nothing has changed with me getting any beta builds. I have access to the regression testing thread but no S/W to test,
