The v7 line will no longer be receiving updates. We are working through reported issues on 8, but in the interim you can continue to use v7.

Postings like this won´t help us to solve your issue.... ;-)
So just tell us what does not work on your setup. Shure we will find out what´s wrong.

If I could get a response for my issues I would not make posts like this! I have made posts about scratching being out of time. Not recognizing my ns7 in V8 but in V7 sees it. NSFX not working at all. To top it all off now the NSFX wont work in 7. My days since lastplay folders in 7 also got messed up from 8. All I get are other users saying that they have the same issues, never a moderator letting me know they are being worked on. Acknowledgement is all I ask.

OK...got the message...;-)
The dev team is working very hard at the moment, to find and solve many issues, reportet by users all over the world. i am shure they read your posts, and i guess they still work on it or have to fix some other issues with a major prior first. but be shure...it is being noticed and sooner or later there will be a solution. so please be patient and sorry that there was no response until now...

I am one to agree that we need to report issues to make it a solid software. The problem I have is that I cannot use 8 for my live gigs because it does not have the MidiClock in the software and I need it to communicate with my lighting software. I am sure that I am not the only one effected. Please add it back in and I am sure you will find more people using it and of course more solid feedback about issues. I can only use it so much at home, and until now I have not had any issues but it is not the same as using it live in a working condition....

I suppose while i have peoples attention. My major issue is that MY ns7 is no longer recognized in version 8 it worked for the first week. It is not listed in the card section of audio options when plugged in. When i plug in my mc-3000 it shows up and works. The NS7 control panel says it is connected and it works in 7 but no 8. None of the midi functions work either. Is this a known bug?

Are you on windows or Mac ?
Could you please do the following...
- Open VirtualDJ 8. change the setting createMidiLog to Yes (from Advanced Options)
- Close VirtualDJ.
- Connect the NS7 (and the N7FX if that doesnt work too),
- Launch VirtualDJ and then close again, without doing anything else.
- Post here the content of the Log Report.txt file you will see in MyDocuments/VirtualDJ folder.

Windows. Will do. Also I have a bug in virtualdj config under options when I click on the + it opens more options then automatically closes. Only happens with no controller connected.

Can you check if "disableBuiltInDefinitions" in Options is set to "yes"? The default is "no", and it should be detected like that.

@djstantastic: uninstall the NS7FX drivers, reboot your computer and install the last drivers from this website http://www.numark.com/images/product_downloads/Numark_NS7_2.9.55.zip
just click, unzip and install with the NS7 and NSFX connected to your computer. Reboot the NS7FX and your computer, you will see it will be reconized and you will be able to use it with VDJ8.
