Not sure, but filter_activate sounds wrong.

Have you tried


deck 1 filter 50% & deck 2 filter 50%


That should reset the filter.

try with

& deck 1 filter_activate off & deck 2 filter_activate off

I have the same on the mixtrack pro. One side sounds more crispy. Louder.

Remove the mapping for the filter. Just erase it. Set them at unity and you never have the issue again.

I know this happens on 7, not sure what I did for 8.

deck 1 filter_activate off & deck 2 filter_activate off

tested here, it works perfect...the filter is switched off when Virtualdj is started.
most likely there is something wrong in your mapper.
please, open a ticket where we can organize to check your mapper.
