Topic: Adjust the filter knob parameters?

I used the Reloop Mix 4 today and the filter knob frequencies are way to harsh. If the knob is turned completely to the left it cuts ALL the frequencies. I prefer the way in 7 where there was greater control/range of the frequencies. Now it seems to be pretty pointless using the filter control as it seems to be either on or off with not much variation in frequency.

I thought that too actually. Might be a way to change the sensitivity in the mapper?

Agreed. Ability to change things like Q and resonance would be nice.

I'm used to Allen & Heath filters!

I'm glad its not just me. The filter is pretty much no use with no gradual frequency change. :(

Not tried this but there is a setting in advanced config for:

filterDefaultResonance

You cab change the resonance of the filter in the settings

Three fixed choices. Not much difference between them.

Oh well, I have filters on my mixer.

I finally got a chance to try the 4 options and they all seem the same.

This is something I use a lot for mixing and effects. Hopefully it will be fixed or restored to how it worked in 7.

I haven't tried it yet, but if you want less range, I assume there is still a param_multiply option that you can apply to the skin or to the mapper for your controller. I know that doesn't change the problem but it would be a work around for you at least.

In v7, I used something like this: param_multiply 90% & param_add 5% & filter
or change to multiply by 80% and and 10% :-)
