I am still having problems with the platters....Everytime I hold the platter VDJ goes crazy. Also the only thing being Displayed is the track name.

There has been no update that addresses this issue as yet. 1820 is the latest iirc.

Is there any updates? I just bought this software and would like to use it with my dns 3900 and dnx 1700! Thank you all for working on these problems sorry I can not help im not a tech guru

I am curious why these products are at the bottom of the barrel for updates.
Contrary to these problems, no one responded to what the ideal asio driver setting is. What MS is it best set at for use? I usually get problems when I go under 511-512.

There isn't an 'ideal' ASIO setting, it's a tradeoff between system capability, responsiveness and safety. I run mine at Denon ASIO at 2ms in v7.4.1, although I'm using the audio card in my X1600 instead.

So I see all the new beta builds and updates, are the 3900's being looked at? I would sure like to use v8! I really am trying to be patient

Worth giving them a test in 1845.688 now I feel. The platter speedup when releasing bug is not yet resolved, but I've had both platters stable and working for approaching 5 hours now.

- support HotCue position on the progress bar

To get the updated mapping files, launch version 8, leave it idle for a couple of minutes and then relaunch. You should see the build number ending at .690 (or higher) in the Config window

I tested this setup for ca. 2-3 hours and it seems to work. I'm glad to see that the display and the platter works fine and the whole mapping seems to be reworked.

Can someone send me a screen shot of how to set up the audio config? I am running:
- 2x DNS-3900's
- 1x DNX-1700
- MBP
I can get the decks to control VD8 but I only get sound out of the mac I am unsure how to get it set up for sound out of mixer using its sound card. I see the 1700 as an option in all the drop downs but unsure of order and such any help would be great!

Just FYI after testing last night I'm still having issues using my 3900s in v8 and could not recommend anybody use them to gig with v8 at this time.

I turned it on for 5 minutes and turned it off.
First off my x1600 mixer is longer even being recognized by the VDJ mapping setting section. It shows up, my mappers are there, but it keeps saying "failed to connect", thus none of my mappers via the mixer are working.
The cue points in my songs are still not recognized by VDJ 8. Sometimes the cue points show up on the program but they don't light up on my decks. Sometimes they light up on my decks but don't show up on the program.
The factory mapping for the denon 3700s are all our of whack! The first button I pressed on my decks is the minus, which should cut the loop in half, instead it activated the loop move function (lol?).
Under the denon 3700 mapping section it shows factory mappers and denon 3700 mappers. When I select the denon 3700 mappers none of the deck screen information shows up.
I also remember stating the the sampler select +1, -1 and all mapping all the sampler functions to my mixer had multiple issues as well. Due to my mixer "failing to connect", I didn't have a chance to see if these issues were addressed.

I experienced the same issue with accelerated playback speed on my 3900s. Persisted even after disabling the motor. It meant I've been unable to test the loss of control I've been experiencing after an hour or so, which was the original reason I was advising not gigging with the 3x00s.
