Hello guys, so I just installed Virtual 8 on my laptop with Windows 8 and the first thing to happen it's that I don't have a clean audio has if the latency it isn't the correct.
I already try to configure the 2 options of latency I found in options with no luck.
I have Virtual 7 Pro installed and I use it with no problems.
This is my laptop:
Asus G46VW
Windows 8 64 bits
core i5
8gb ram
nvidia geforce gtx 660m

I'm try to get my audio to work, it sounds like static and you can barelly hear the song. I check on performance to put the latency on safe mode but with no luck.

Soundcard? Internal? External?

That's right I'm sorry, I'm using the internal sound card for now. I already put it on simple card and on headphones with mono.

So how is it wired. Do you have a speaker output and separate headphone out or are you using a splitter once out of the computer?
Posted Sun 11 May 14 @ 2:05 pm
I've used 3 RCA stereo to 1/8 jack cables, left side master and right headphones, I inverted that config and it's still the same. I know the cables are ok because I use them daily, I also try using headphones and directly with the speakers on the laptop. I also re install the software.

Your audio setup not the options tab.

I found the problem with the wasapi option while looking at another post and I just try deactivating that option.
