Topic: Hercules RMX2 keypad delay

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey guys i've been following these forums for a while and have gotten lots of valuable information but after searching pages and pages I could not find a topic that applies to the issue that im having.
As you can see i had/still have the original RMX and after getting the RMX2, I noticed that there is a delay in the CUE mode when you press the keypad... Is this a known issue and I just have to get used to different (much different) timing or am i not configuring something right?

Please help here or direct me to a thread that this topic was discussed before.
THank you

Any chance you have the Smart Cue enabled ?

In the Default 2 Decks skin its a small locker icon next to the HotCue buttons. It should be off (grey)

Can you be a bit more specific about the problem?

Are you saying there's a delay between you pressing the cue button and cue engaging, or are you saying the cue audio is delayed compared to the main output?

There is a major delay between pressing the pad in cue mode and cue actually engaging. This was not the case with the first RMX controller.

For anyone else that is having this issue there is a very simple fix for it..
Just check the ultra latency ASIO in the Sound Setup tab..

Thanks for everyone's help anyway. :)
