Hey everyone, i got a quick question hopefully someone can help me with. Okay so i am going to be setting up my first timecode vinyl setup. I have a stanton t62 and a stanton m201 mixer (i think thats what its called haha). Now my question is, for the sound card, since i am only going to be having one TT and the mixer, do i need a 4 in 4 out sound card? Im really trying to go somewhat cheap with this set up. I just wanna practice scratching. What would the best cheap sound card be? Thanks!

As per the link, you will need an Asio compliant card. Please also note the home version of VirtualDJ will only work for 10 minutes as a demo. You need a registered version of Pro to use timecode for more than 10 minutes.

Thanks keith,
But just to be sure, I still need a 4x4 even if I'm only using one TT and a mixer? Rather than 2 TTs and a mixer?
Thanks again.

You need 2 inputs (1 stereo) for each Timecode deck you need to use, so if you run a single timecode, just a stereo input will do the job.
(2inputs, 4outputs)
