Copying is a form of flattery,... I alway knew this was going to happen, no matter how the "Fan Boyz" kept spitting at us...Our day wil come, I mean it's on it's way!!!!!....Will the real slim shady Please Stand Up...

can some1 send me the download link plz....or send it in my email - xxxxxxx@xxxxxx.com thanks

Please don't ask users to send versions you do not own. The Free version DOES NOT have colored waves

That's probably not gonna happen for you. And considering you can download the free home version.......

the home 1 have the wave color change and send the link plz

Currently, Home Free version is still at 7.05. That means that no colored waveforms are there to see.
There was an issue with download.cnet, which will going to be fixed soon, and the 7.2 Home Free will be soon available.

Hi, I use good quality amps and speakers and don't have any issues whatsoever with the sound quality. I never use timecodes anyway so don't have any problem with them either.
On the PS3 vs Xbox debate. My kids had an Xbox 360, it broke in under 6 months circle of death, sent if to Microsoft for repair and one with a different serial number is sent to me. That worked for about a year then the disk tray would stick and refuse to open, sent off for repair again. Lasted 6 months then the thing refused to switch on. Slung it in the bin and bought a ps3. Had my ps3 for the best part of 4 years now and not a single problem. Also with a ps3 you play games online for FREE whereas Xbox Live you have to pay to play.
If you have more money than sense then have your Xbox, if on the other hand you want a reliable machine get a ps3.

I only brought up the Xbox vs PS3 thing to give an example of how not rushing a release doesn't have to mean losing out on sales. Unless the advertising sucks, a good product will sell regardless of when it's released and in fact, more time spent stabilizing a product means a better product which means better sales and reputation. I think VDJ is doing well at hyping up version 8, but for now 7.2 works great for me;^]

congrats to Chris Watkins! winner of the 2nd comp

hercules have a comp for a rmx2 on there facebook page, think it closes soon so get ur self in it ;)

Home FREE v7.2 is not available yet and you do not currently have a license registered, so these issues that you are experiencing could be due to using an illegal version of the software that does not work correctly. If this is the case, then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

Otherwise, please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Performance%20Issues.html

If you still have problems after doing this, please open your own topic on this subject in the PC Version Technical Support forum: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/20/PC_Version_Technical_Support.html

Might be version 7, where does it say?

Config > Info.

It will tell you in that box the version running and who it is registered to.

This thread is about the new VirtualDJ v7.2 so we assumed that version. If it's not v7.2, then please register your serial number on your profile page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and update to the latest version http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html or if you are using Home FREE, download the most recent v7.0.5b version from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html (Home FREE v7.2 should be available soon.)

As above, if you still have problems, please open your own topic on this subject for further assistance/troubleshooting. This topic is for comments on the new VirtualDJ v7.2 only.

so i was wondering is there a way to map the knobs on my N4 to work out the fTK filter effect in vdj ? it only works on my touch pad.. and mouse.. wondering i can make it to work on my knobs :)

@Maki2001,

This thread is specifically about VirtualDJ 7.2 release.

Please create your own thread in the hardware support forum instead of hijacking this one. The Limited Edition software registered to you does not support custom mapping of effects.

Thank you

Keith

I'm using Vdj LE and I want to upgrade to pro. I'm thinking of purchasing an online upgrade, but here's the thing....If I purchase the current version now, will I have to purchase another license when VDJ 8 comes out or will my current pro version be automatically updated to version 8 ?
