Topic: [NEW] VirtualDJ v6.1.2 - Page: 4

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

The most common cause of this error is installing the software while logged in as one user (E.g: Fred) and then trying to run it as a different user (E.g: Joe.)

The other user is missing the My Documents\VirtualDJ folder. The program will not run without this.

To resolve, please either:

(1) Install the software as the user you will be running it as.

(2) Manually copy the My Documents\VirtualDJ folder across to the other user.

Hello,

I have the ‘DJ Control MP3 e2’ console by “Hercules”. My original software was the ‘DJ3 DJC Edition’ which was included in the package. All worked perfectly, no problems.
I bought the new software: ‘Virtual DJ Basic V6.1.2’, now the program only works via computer (Laptop), there is no connection between my console and the software.
When I start to use the old (original) program, everything works without any troubles.
For your information I have: Windows 7, Intel i7 processor, and all the latest drivers from “Hercules”.
How shall I fix this problem?

Hi,

I wanna Thank Virtual dj For a Great Software Program
I am a Very Heavy User. I Use It 4 times a week when Do my Video Gigs
But 6.1.2 Crashed On Me once every night since I had it for last 2 weeks!

I Got NS7 with Hp dual Processors inside. This Never happen Before!

I am Planning to erase My Laptop and put a fresh copy Of 6.1.1
back on my P.C

Once I Use My Effects and Videos a few times.... It Locks Up and Nothing
works. Makes me Look bad..

Help!

Maybe you could post the contents of the crashguard files on here (they should be in your my documents/virtual dj folder on your computer) so that the developers can see what caused the crashes.

I just installed virtual dj 6.1.2 and i'm using the Numark Ns7. I noticed when ever I move the picth control on the ns7 or the computer, I get a sound proplem. How can I resolve this problem.

i just got a mixdeck and cant get it 2 work i did:


[PC]

Numark USB Audio Device v2.8.40 drivers

Leave the drivers on their default values.


MixDeck Unit Setup

Both Decks Source - USB-MIDI
Channel Source switches set to the center position - PC

VirtualDJ Soundcard Setup

Inputs - None
Outputs - External Mixer
Output Drop-down - Left deck: Chan 1&2 / Right deck: Chan 3&4
Soundcard - ASIO
Soundcard Drop-down - MixDeck ASIO Driver
Ultra-Latency - Checked


it says its connected the mapper says its on "mixdeck" but buttons do nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


please help!

Anything new on the basic program which we should know about..

I gave up on controllers years ago when I had one go bad in the middle of my gig.
I was able to quickly change over to the keyboard but
I heart didn't stop pounding until way later...
From that night on I started learning to work right off the keyboard...

This is one of the reasons I went with VDJ...

I'm able to program the keys to do anything I like doing...

Anyway, let us know it there is any other reason we should upgrade...

I notice that sometimes the VDJ pro, pauses for a long time, I thought it was the glich of windows Xp or just (Windows?) cant fix help the freezes and as you said on page 1 that some denon contollers interfere with the program or is that what the V6 .1 .2 for?

I can't upgrade. It asks me if I would like to upgrade, I say yes and install but it still asks me if I want to upgrade.

If you are running Mac and moved the application to the desktop or to your Dock area - then you are not running the installed update.

Run VirtualDJ, look at the info tab - if it is not 6.1.2 then you are not running what was installed.

Go to your Applications folder and run the VirtualDJ application that is there.

My first gig with 6.1.2 last friday:

no issues at all, seems more stable than 6.0.5

All went smooth for 9 hours straight:
Automix (4 hrs), then my set (4 hrs) with mp3, m4a, videos (vob; VGA-output to plasma), samples, video plugins, using the Hercules MP3 DJ control and the midi on my Ecler Evo5.

Thumbs up yet again.

And yes, of course, can't wait for a 3rd deck in VDJ version 7 ... !
