I got VDJ from one of my friends.
I would like to know what equipment I would need to get to get it working with a turntable and a mixer.
These ones 2 be exact.

Well the program is not 500 bucks..its under 300. However, if you purchase an RMX or MKII from Hercules there is a discount. Also, the reason to buy a controller is to assist you instead of using mouse and keyboard shortcuts. The RMX and MKII are also soundcards so, you can preview the tracks before they are played.
"Getting" VDJ from a friend violates the EULA agreement, so there is no promises it will perform correctly. Also, there are a great many here who will not help someone who "got it from a friend".....

well I did actually get it from a friend. He told me he had it, I wanted it, and he gave it 2 me. So 2 everyone "hating", stop.
But I mean why a controller instead of turntables and the time coded vinyl???

What about the stanton dj lab pack 2?
the only other things I would need are the time coded vinyl and a sound card.

I saw the link you posted for the Numark battle mixer and I just want to add that I have been through three Numark battle mixers and all three have broken down on me within one year so I would suggest another mixer. You get what you pay for, and those two channel mixers have always been the affordable, but far less reliable option.
