Topic: Sennheiser HD215 DJ Headphone?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

What do you guys know or think of the Sennheiser HD215 DJ heaphone?

I have seen seldom DJ use It. It shows that It Is widely available In Europe, but limited Websites In the US still carry It. A great deal of those sites shows out of stock.

I got thru one company here in the US who tells me that the HD215 has been discontinued. Is It rue?

Sennheisers are great headphone, if you want a decent pair then I would go for the HD25 SP

Quite basic in design, but are just awesome.

I've had the same pair for at least 10 years, and only had to replace the padding.

It Is actually $70.

My long time DJ friend had a Sony headphone and complain It did not last him long before one side broke.

Anyway, these are some pics of the HD215 I am Interested In below:

Hi, I'm not sure about the HD215, but I've had other sennheiser headphones that cost about £40 ($80), and they were pretty good but broke after a year or two.

If you really want something amazing, then go for sennheiser HD25 (the next model up from the HD25 SP). They are awesome! Such good sound and block out background noise, and light weight, and robust, and did I mention very LOUD!

I can vouch for the 215's. Best headphones I've had by far. My Dj partner uses the Sony ones and for me they feel uncomfortable and flimsey. I'm not the most easygoing on my equipment sometimes and headphones were something I would go through a fair bit.... That was until I got the 215's

Thank you all for all of the feedbacks. I probably will order It! the HD215 shows as still In production In the European Sennheiser
website, but the HD215 shows as being discontinued In the US Sennheiser website.

It seems to be a good DJ headphone with all Its specifications, options, durability. I will check the other Sennheiser DJ headphone models too!

THe Sennheiser HD215, Is an amazing headphone specially designed for DJ. The Mids and the highs are so clear and clean. It' s not too much on the lows to allow you to mix better when you are using your PA system subs.

I recomend you the AKG K181DJ...I had this one since 2 years ago, and also I´ve tested a lot of sennheisser, also the HD25, and the AKG are a lot better!
