I am wondering if anybody own this small unit from Behringer. it is small MIDI controller.
homepage: http://www.behringer.com/BCN44/?lang=ENG

I just want to know if it is possible to use those 4 rotary buttons to scroll through library (up and down) and 4 buttons to map them (midi) to any button in VDJ, for example to load the song.

It is midi controller, but not sure what way it works (don't have many knowledge about midi tech ;) )

thanks to anybody ;)

You should be able to set it up in the MIDI config to do those actions you list.

Setting up MIDI is just like setting up a keyboard shortcut. Push button/Turn knob and select action.

i taught so, but this little piece of hardware has many more functions than only sending midi msgs for use like i want to. i checked manual but don't understand what is store function for, and so on :)

ok i hope it will work like i want. it is all that i need in my new setup (pioneer 800 and 2 x 1000 with numark VV sound card, of course i use VDJ with it instead of VV) ;)

thanks
