There is a local Radio station here in Chicago that plays a song everyday. They call it the Subliminal Song of the day, because the melody haunts you all day. Today I have this song in my head, and thought we could post our own subliminal songs here....

No they were not Chuck. There were a lot of really talented bands of that era. But it was also the advent of music videos at the same time. Bands like Toto and .38 Special got lost in the translation because they were not good looking enough on camera.

btw younguns .......Light My Fire " has a really cool instrumental jam in the middle that never is played on radio ......

an instrumental jam is when uuuuuuhhhh instrumentalists ... jam on there uuhh instruments ..... instrumentally i think

only good radio left is the viewer supported and the college stations.....

the ben fm's are amazingly similar , homogenized pap .....i've driven from philly , thru baltimore , d.c. , NC , and it sounds like the same station ..... they all have a curious affinity for the same elton john songs .....

THATS WHAT I'm TALKING ABOUT!!! Good job TD, now the Bee gees are stuck in my head!!....And that is the entire idea behind the subliminal song of the day. Giving the next guy a song they can't get out of their head.....
