I am in the process of upgrading my video system. I am running VDJ 5.1.
My video card has a DVI output and both my preview monitor and projector have DVI input support.
If I purchase a splitter to connect my preview monitor (monitor used for mixing display) and projector (full video screen display) so I can run both in DVI, will VDJ be able to separate my preview screen and TV output screen as two separate units? or will I end up getting the same display on both screens.
The video card also supports S-video and SVGA output
I would like to have the best quality on both screens

You will end up getting the same on both displays.
In order to achieve what you want, you need a video card with two DVI outputs. As a matter of fact, most newer cards comes with that configuration.
