Topic: Midi conflict. 2 Pioneer CDJ-400 and 1 DJM-800

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi.

I have my setup complete. It is 2 Pioneer CDJ-400's and 2 DJM-800.

I have just a handful of basic commands mapped to my mixer (like video crossfader) and I just downloaded a midi map off the Pioneer website that maps 2 cdj-400 players.

I have the CDJ-400's setup correctly (midi 1 for the left deck and midi 2 for the right)

I merged the CDJ-400 midi map to my current DJM-800 commands and now I am having problems

sometimes when I start the program, the mixer will not work at all, other times, the mixer works but certain commands that are mapped for the CDJ's will not work. Sometimes everything works just fine.

The commands are there in the map, but the physical functions do not work.

I have a M-Audio Delta 1010LT soundcard setup as dual channel setup, I have the CDJ's input into the computer via the USB ports on the computer, and the DJM-800 connected through the M-Audio Midi output connection.

Could this be creating the conflict?

I turn on the equipment first, then set the players in PC mode, then load the program.

could use some help.
