I am using Virtual DJ With 2 Mackie 450s. I am looking for a mixer that can control the software but also produce sound to my speakers. I am testing out the Herculees RMX but i am having trouble with a rumbling sound when adjusting the volume controls. Does anyone have any suggestions on what mixer to use or how to fix this problem i am having.

Why not invest in a mackie mixer ? Mackie DFX6 6x2 Mixer with EFX. ($189.00)Wire your RMX into your mackie and use the RMX as your crossfader ,effects etc. You could out channels one & two either stereo or mono on the RMX and have two channels left for vocals and mp3player for backup on the mackie . You would also have a wider range of EQ adjustments. It would fit into a nice small case. you could even build in room for your laptop.
