Hello,
I'm a beginner digital dj who wants to perform at parties at home/ friends, neighborhood, family gatherings, etc. , what controller would you suggest I get? I was looking at the x-session pro but I was also considering the MK2 but I just might get the x-session b/c it's less $$$.

My wife bought me the X-Session Pro for Valentines Day last February. Bless her heart... she tried, lol! Anyway, it's more of a toy than a controller. I hooked it up to VDJ and manually mapped the MIDI to see how it would work. The basic functions worked, but I still found myself going back to the computer to do a lot of the work. I would suggest you go with the MK2. It's a more capable controller, and it has native support with VDJ. Good luck.

Mk2 mate! Ive had it for a year and its so simple to use and create perfect mixes. worth every penny!
