I am trying to install the SBDJ Slideshow plug-in. I have installed it, but when I try to open the plugin in Virtual DJ it says "The Application failed to start because d3dx9_36 dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. I have tried to re-install with no success. I do have it installed on my other compuetr and it works great. I use alot of slide for the default video and this plug in is important to me becuase it fixes the apsect ratio on each picture so that they are not "stretched" across the scree-any help you can give would be appreciated

Also if you search d3dx9_36 dll it will bring up the topic but with the d3dx.... highlighted an you will see it more easily.
RIGHT, just done it for you.
Download DirectX9.0c Nov.2007 and make sure you click the DXSETUP.exe
Many people including myself download Directx9.0c but don't click the setup!
This sorted it for me!
