Any decent mixer, e.g. DJM series, has a wet/dry fader knob for effects as well as the glowing button to turn an effect on/off. Can VDJ fade an effect? I can't see anyway of doing it and have been playing around for a long time as well as checking out different skins. I'm currently using a Hercules MK2 and so my VDJ version is a little outdated, but I checked out the new version as a trial and couldn't see what i wanted - nor many differences at all!
Just whacking in an effect and then ripping it out is a bit naff.
The only nice effect I can pull off is with the TK Filter which can be left permanently on, as it doesn't effect the music when kept to the right, so I can slowly move it around. BTW, are there any guides to effective use of the TK Filter?
What would be really nice would be to re-assign the MK2's pitch knob to a be a wet/dry fader, as I never use that knob when mixing as VDJ always adjust BPM for me.
