Hey everyone! I have a question for the techs and advanced guys, so here goes...
I recently bought 5.1, and previously had extensive experience on Numark Cue (and VDJ 4.3 via the computer at my club). I read in another post about upgrading from 4.3 to 5, and losing mix/cue points, which happened to me when I changed from Cue to VDJ 5.1 Here is my question... If they (my club) decide to upgrade the club computer to version 5, would I be able to do the "homework" of resetting the mix cuepoints on say, my laptop and be able to transfer the database info to the desktop at the club? I use an external HD as my library for the club, so its the same files physically, just used on a different computer? Would this involve advanced work on the club computer ie. renaming hard drives, or would the club computer with VDJ5 automatically recognize the work done on my laptop and external HD?

Yes, that is one of the major advances with v5 was hot swapping of hard drives for club use .
