I know there is too many posts about this but unfortunately unhelpful.
I'm DJ for 6 years now and i need to migrate to Digital Djing.
I'm hesitating for long time as i don't trust computers.
I've been trying to find informations about "Which laptop to buy" for real hard use, for example mixing with 2 laptops with the TC vinyls instead of 4 turntables or 4 CD players to play with acapellas, instrumentals, samples......
Please can someone provide some benchmarks or something similar like for video games or applications:
Time of loading for each type of media
If there is some lags ( I have a Centrino 1.7 and it is really bad even with 2gigs of DDR2)
Differences between XP and VISTA ( only for the performance not for the usual Microsoft problems )
And if someone can tell me if this laptop is ok for intense use and videos mixing :

Memory 4096 (2 x 2048 MB)
Video Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
Video Memory Up to 1407 MB (128 MB dedicated)

I don't care about the hard drive speed as i'm converting all videos to MPEG2, if it loads a video in 15s it is perfect.
