Hello there.
I got my RMX in may, and realised when i first used it was that i couldn't use the faders or crossfaders. They didn't affect the music at all. However i could monitor individual decks with the monitor knob. I changed the options from default to......
Inputs: none
Output: headphones
Sound Card: RMX
Output channels: Master: Chan 3&4: Headphones: Chan 1&2.
.......and could now use the faders and crossfader, but now i can't preview the tracks with the monitor. I've messaged VDJ with a ticket, but they've taken 2 months, and have only replied with questions like "do you have mac or pc" and "have you updated drivers". I have a PC, and i've updated to the latest driver, but no luck. I've also tried using this setup......

.... but it says "error in the sound driver of directX". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are you using version 5.1? set your output channels to master 1&2 headphone 3&4

Yes i'm using 5.1, but when i set the output channels to master 1&2 headphone 3&4, the faders and crossfader are inactive. they move onscreen but do nothing. However monitor works.????? No idea why
