Hey there. I've searched the forums for my answer but still don't have it. Wondering if someone can please shed some light on this.
We are getting "hidden files" in the Virtual DJ database. We are on the latest vesion and sometimes for no reason that I can see, we search for a song that we know is in the library and it's not showing up in the search. I realize that by recursing the library and re-adding it to the search db that fixes the problem..... but we seem to have to do that quite often.
My real question is what causes the files to be hidden. Is there a setting in the options menu that can help with this that I'm overlooking?

There's something in the "Folder Options" that ask you what you want to do with them.
I can't remember where this option is but one is to hide files, and you can uncheck the option in order to see them.
Try this Control Panel>Folder Options>View. Hope this helps.
