Topic: basic starter help for a new Mac user, please

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've been a Virtual D.J. user for about 3 years, but on Windows machines only. I have a new MacBook Pro.

Tonight, I installed the latest Hercules drivers for my RMX, and installed VDJ for Mac 5.07. All seems to work well so far, but I have a couple of (probably) really basic questions, as I'm used to Windows versus the Mac OS.

1) How do I scan my files. In Windows I would right click for a menu - does the same menu appear in the Mac version somewhere?

2) Where do I put new skins? I'd like to use the vmix skins, as they're widescreen, and get more usage out of my screen.

3) Is there a pdf manual for the Mac version(s)?

Thank you!

You have to use MAC 5.0.8 if you want to use the RMX

1) Yes it is the same

2) Go to your documents then you have a VirtualDJ folder. It's like the Windows version
