Im planning to buy a BCD2000 and do i need the mapper for VDJ? Is it really necessary? Please anyone who can help reply to this post.

My advise to you is dont unless you can get a really good deal , it was canceled as a unit as it had hardware issues.

I had a BCD3000 and I think it's the same sorta deal.
Well if you have a legit copy, register it and the mapper is available in the download section, I think it's an .xml file which you load into the remote control settings tab. It's also easy to edit it/customise it/even map it yourself.
