Topic: Problems with my sound effects.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Numark Cue 5.07
Windows XP Pro - SP3
Dell System - P4 3Ghz
1 Gig ram (2.99 Ghz)


Suddenly, and for no apparent reasn, my sound effects are gone.

When I click on the tab it list all the effects I have installed but when I click on them the control window is blink. Clicking on some of them cause a crash. They only exception is the Flippin Double effect which seems to operate as normal.

I tried installing some new effects and they too show up but fail to work.

I have uninstalled Cue, deleted all folders and registry entries and clean installed twice. Didn't solve my problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you please confirm that the DLL files are present in the Effects folder and your account has the correct permission to open them.

Do the files still have the correct .dll extension , on them (if not they will not be loaded).

Please also try deleting plugin.ini

Can you post here the data of your "crashguard report.txt" file
 
All effects are in the correct folders and have extentions still intact.

NO "plugins.ini" file on my computer

Is that bad?

Still no effects.

To understand this further could you please post this it is located in My Documents /numarkcue
