Topic: Error in the asio sound driver(With Hercules DJConsole MK2)

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey, i am using the hercules dj console mk2 for a while now but since recently virtual dj sais "Error in the asio sound driver" when i start it and it wont play a song.

The sound setup in the settings is as following
Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones
Sound Card: DJ Console MK2
Output Channels: Master: Chan 1&2 / Headphones: Chan 3&4

Also when i try to enable the DJ Console sound card in asio4all it says the output is unavailable (With a red cross through it)
How do i fix this?

Thanks for your time, Lars

OK. Check at the herc control panel n see if that set to asio rather than wdm.

It's set at wdm but if i set it to asio and start virtualdj it resets it to wdm

Leave the herc panel open , set to asio , then open vdj.. after setting, then just close the herc panel.

Hi lars, glad it worked out for u..

Just an advice, refrain from using asio4all if not necessary.

If u like the program after ur trial, pls support its development by purchasing it which u could with a discount;)

Hope to see u with us soon.

Well i need asio4all to emulate zero-latency for fl studio, but the weird part is first they worked perfectly together and i could use the djconsole as the sound card for asio4all now it sais unavailable when i try to select it.
And about buying it i can't i just don't have the money, and if i had it i would spend it on something else like new computer monitors
