Can someone help to configure the Xponent? since updating to 5.1 I can no longer use the side of the wheels to slow down or speed up. it now acts in the same manner as touching the top plate of the wheels for scratching. There's no difference. before updating to v5.1 it all worked the way a cdj-1000 does.

By default, VirtualDJ v5.1 uses the vinyl mode in the new jog functions, not currently used in the old mappers.
To solve this problem of "compatibility", just create a keyboard shortcut:
vinyl_mode(-1)
It will switch in jogwheel mode when you click on it ;-)
NB: In order to verify that you are well in jogwheel mode, open the regisrty and look at the key "WheelMode":
0 -> jogwheel mode
1 -> vinyl mode
