Topic: Is there a work-around for sending video to a TV in Bootcamp?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Im running the latest iMac 24" with the nVidia 512 card. The machine has a mini-dvi port and I have the adapter to convert the signal to composite or svideo. It works fine in OSX but its not supported and doesnt work in bootcamp.

Anyone have experience with this and how to get the video signal to my plasmas? Is there a device that will scale the mini-dvi to TV?

I would use the Mac version of Virtual but there are too many quirks...see my other post for the list...

Any help would be awesome......Thanks!

The only work around is to buy a scan converter. This is a piece of hardware that converts the dvi output of the mac into a composite video or svideo signal. One of these adapters is about $80.
