Nice, but they didnt talk much about the name of the program or what the features are supposed to be. Do you know more about it?

I believe he is talking about Ableton Live.

It's a fantastic piece of software.

This video is the example i wanted share for the use of the webcam with virtual dj
We could do so much more with vdj-ozone-tcv-webcam
I will have time in the new year to make a similar video with vdj

Clax - copy and paste the link into your browser, then go away and make a coffee. It takes a loooong time to come up. Need Quicktime too. ;)

It is Ableton Live, i own it and it is excellent, BUT:
It is not designed for normal dj'ing but as a "live" remixing tool.
(I use it rewire with cubase sx for loops)

1. It needs time for preparation, for every loop to create the right points, so its not so..."live"
(but after that it is always in sync)

2. It uses only uncompresed files (wav or aiff) so no mp3..., BT says he can cary all his music with a laptop... no comments...

If i get paid like him for a gig, sure... a good preparation for a 2-3 hours show its worth it, but..

And the fact is that i do most of what i saw with virtual dj already, and "live" using keyboard shortcuts
and midi controllers for cue points and loops.

The only i don't know is what is this little controller with the blue ray ?
Can anybody recognize it ?

Thats a cool little thing i would also like to know what it is(blue box)The webcam scratch acts similar to this,if you calibrate right when you pass your fingers in front of the webcam you can scratch virtually (this has taken a lot of practice but once acheived its really cool
Try it with Kraze accapella "the Party"

@"i don't know is what is this little controller with the blue ray"

Not sure either, but here is something quite similar with invisible rays that will do loads for your digital image. I've had lots of fun with it.
