My nvidia 8700 gt won't do alpha tranisitons. It's got 512mb of ram, 4gb in the system with a great core duo 2 processor (2.5 ghz). I can't get alpha transitions to work - you just move the slider over a millimeter and the video cuts. once you cross over the middle of the fader, it cuts back to the first side until you get all the way to the end.
If I turn off hardware acceleration it makes the system REALLY slow. Bad times.
Any ideas?

its a demo version. but I tried a copy of my friends full purchased version (and it works on his laptop) and I still have the problem. its not a huge deal but its a damn cool transition and it sucks that it won't work.
