i've just bought a maya44 usb soundcard to work with my setup.It all works brilliantly but I seem to have alot of bass. Virtual dj was working excellently before i had the soundcard but after it was too much bass. Also when I turn up the volume I get this loud annoying buzzzzzzz sound. The timecoded vinyl setup says "0% timecode quality."
MY SETUP:
1 prosound mmx-410 mixer
2 numark pro tt-2 direct drive turntables
1 maya44 usb
1 pc (intel pentiuim4, 512mb ram, 80gb hard drive ATi HD 2400 pro sonic graphics)
1 numark cue 5

Powered usb hub cured my problem but there are other options too...

If it's a loud buzz, it could be the noise of the timecode signal coming through the system.
To cure that you just have to go to the maya control panel and mute the sliders that say "monitor" on them (4 in total, in two pairs)
