Topic: Main Waveform Display seems slightly jerky or not consistent?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i just recently bought a brand new laptop with great specs
quad core processor, 3 gb of ram,etc an di installed the vers 5 virtual dj and i notice the waveform display seems a little different. no matter what skin i use it seems to be a slight bit jumpy or not consistent. i cannot explain it it just seems to not flow as normal from the vers 4.3 way.
anyone can you please help

Test without the keylock on both decks to see a difference
Or try to adjust your latency in the software

thanks for the advice but i tired it and no change
it could be my monitor and maybe its just the glossy screen and laptop 15.4 inch monitor tha ti smakin me "think" its jerky.

please anyone can you give me further tips

also
if i wanted to downgrade back to 4.3 is that easy to do or would i have to blow it all out and uninstall everything and start from scratch.
for some reason i think i like 4.3 better anyway.

for kicks try a skin that is not is a zip file. unzip it and then open that in vdj, see if that might make a difference.

I would suggest switcing to manual beatlock verses Techno/House.
