Topic: mp3 encoder not working despite download

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have the oft-reported problem of not being able to record, getting an mp3 encoder error message.

I've re-downloaded the .dll file and so on, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

I have recently downloaded the program again after having deleted it off my system entirely. In its previous form I was able to record. I can record now in WAV format.

Any ideas?
