In order to run Virtual DJ, do i have to use a mixer from one of the remotes that are pre loaded in the program? Or, can I buy a diffrent mixer and then run two turntables (probably stanton).

you can use the internal mixer that comes VDJ or use an external with a sound card that has 4 in's and out's for your turntables to the mixer. Read the tutorials on Time Code setups

Can I use my DJMK2 console as the mixer, and then use 2 external turntables? Will this work and allow me to be able to scratch and still use the effects and looping with my DJMK2 console allows?
