I have Virtual DJ Pro and a DAC-3 controller. The way the jog wheels works is not what I'm expecting--it will fast forward and reverse when a song is playing and I'm not a scratch-type DJ. However, if I hit the shift key while I'm playing a song, the jog wheel acts as expected, meaning it slows down the song just a little bit when I move the jog wheel backwards.

Now the question is, how can I make this the primary way the jog wheel acts? Can I make it to where I don't have to hit the shift key to get them to act this way?

There are a couple of mappers in the Download section for the Dac 3 you could try, don't know whether they will work on virtualDJ 5 and above, but you could try.

I need one of those buttons from Staples... The hardest part was figuring out where files are kept now in Vista.

Now that the mapper installed, it works the way I would want it to! Jimmy, that was easy!!
