Here are my computer specs:

Dell:
Windows Vista
Intel Core 2 Due 2.6GHz
3 Gig Ram
NVIDIA 8600M GT Video Card

Problem: Some videos lag vocals compared to video, some are ok, but others are like watching an old bruce lee movie.

Im using IMTOO Video ripping software.

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated :-)

Are you ripping from DVDs or converting files? I subscribe to Promo Only vids and use DVDdecrypter with Mediacoder or Super with great success. I usually set my bit rate to something more than 800kbps fixed X264 codec and MP3 for the audio.

Im ripping from music DVD's I purchase from amazon or other internet stores. I have tried ripping them to every conceivable format avi, mpeg, mpg, mov, etc. What works the best is Super VideoCD Format (.vob)

There are drop down menus with ImToo DVD Ripper, I usually use the ones that are the default witch is:

Video:
Bit Rate = 2040
Buffer Size = 224
Frame Rate = 29.97
Max Bit Rate = 2516

Audio:
Codec = MP2 (cant change that)
Bit Rate = 224
Sample Rate = 44100
Stereo

Some videos are flawless, others I delete that lool really bad.

Thanks for getting back....maybe I will try DVD Decrypter and see if there is a difference.
