I was just curious about this, I tried it once and the sound came out pretty good. I used one of those 1/8" stereo headphone wire to red/white rca and put it in separate channels in my mixed so the first channel is now the left deck and the second channel is the right deck. Obviously because I had mono plug, sound only comes out of one speakers. I tried to put a Y cable which takes one rca and splits it into two and had some trouble but I was doing this while i was in a rush. Has anyone ever played their sounds like this and succeeded. My numark io is HORRIBLE for the sound output, it's almost as if the gain's turned all the way up or something. I have Vista by the way and I did read Numark's IO has some issue there. Any suggestions would help.
