Topic: does anyone know how to "SIMPLY" use the Mixman Dm2 to control Cue?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

all I want to do is see if I like using the DM2 to control Numark Cue 5.07. I know that most people think that the DM2 is a toy and a piece of junk, but all i want to do is try it out, but I am having tons of problems getting my DM2 to work with xp desktop and my Vista laptop. I have searched all over the net for drivers, and midi programs, and I have run into the issue of calibrating my DM2 to work with the DM2Midi program that I found.

I'm sure that if I could get Cue to recognize the DM2 on the Remote Control menu, that I could map it myself.

Any Suggestions???

Okay so I got the DM2 calibrated now, but I still have no idea how to get Cue to recognize it as a General Midi controler.

Anyone else ever tried it?

i downloaded those already, but the main problem that I am having is getting Cue to recognize that the DM2 is even there. I do not know how to get it to recognize it.
