I've had a look though this forum but I cant find any info on my problem

I'm running VDJ 3.1 and using vista as my OS

But every song seams to be playing really fast, but there playing at all diffrent speeds

When I was using XP as my OS everything was working fine but vista isnt playing ball.

If anyone could offer me some help to resolve this problem i'll buy them a beer

thanks in advance

Not designed for running on Vista. Might try running it in a compatibility mode. And since you have had it for so long why not register it and get updated to a Vista compatible version - Version 5

I used V3 with Vista for around a year. It works fine.

Sorry not sure about your wrong speed issue

The wrong speed is usually caused when the soundcard timeclock is set to
different sample rate than the source (in this case VDj). If I remember
correctly VDj v 3.x runs only in 44.1 kHz mode, so if your card is set to
48 kHz your audio will be sped up (faster & higher in pitch).

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong. First the program runs just fine in Vista. Your problem is occuring from the fact that you are running your system in smart mode. The program is trying to adjust the speed based on where your pitch control is. In other words if you have your pitch control set at +4 when you load the track. Turning it to 0 will slow it down. It also remembers the speed on the songs last load which can slow it down more everyting it gets loaded depending on the pitch setting. You can fix this by changing your setting to Absolute in the timecode area.
