Hi-
I am still on VDJ 3.3 considering an upgrade t o 5. Will the upgrade overwrite version 3.3 or will it create another instance of VDJ 5? The concern of course is that I have 3.3 working just the way I need it except I have some database issues that I am hoping were corrected in later versions.
New versions come with risks and I want to be sure I can go back to what I had. Thank you.
PS- the problem I am having is with VDJ 3.3 reading ID3 tags. It does not seem to read the comment section.

I jsut installed to a different folder. Not used my V3 again yet but will try it when at home and report back

I did this recently and the safest thing to do is install 4.3 over 3.4 first.
Then 5.0rev7 over 4.3. It does certain things to the databases and other files
in 4.3 correctly, as it may not over 3.4.
there was a thread on it about 6 months ago somewhere on here.
type in search ver5 over ver4.3 or something similar to that,
and you may find it .
