Hopefully, you can stop putting your ads on the videos at smashvidz. I can understand on some of the public sites, but I'm paying for these. It's getting to be a little much. I'm not talking about the regular IDs, but the popups.

But aren't these just at the start and finish of the videos? Surely these wouldn't see the grace of the screens when cued and mixed accordingly?
 
No, this was in the front and the back end. It was a pop-up on the Usher Yeah vs Get Buck In Here. I thought this was way over the top. As I said before, on a free site, I can understand. I don't have a problem when it's done like all the other videos, from all the other companies. I don't have a problem the way he did it on the other videos, as I had a choice. However, a pop-up that almost fills the whole screen, is too much. He does good work, but this is not what I am paying for. If this becomes a habit with all the other re-mixers, I will look elsewhere. I don't even put my name, or the clubs name up there that big, when I am playing videos.
 
I was about to register for download today but if this is true I don't want this on my videos. What's the deal? is this true of most videos downloaded.
 
No. I have not seen this many times. I hate it as well. It is like the remixes that Djs seem they need to speak over or have a DJ name drop 5 times in a 4 minute mix. It is stupid.


Anyone else feel like this video has the same scenes through the whole thing? I kept watching and got excited when something new came on.

Seems a bit extreme, the people at Smash are really reasonable guys, and I'm sure if enough people share this view then they'd be willing to change things.

I'm also against mid-flow popups and the like, it's enough to have the name of the remix artist appearing at the start and finish of a song, perhaps even these could be shorter.
 
@ D-Twizzle. Approximately how long does it take you to make a remix like that?

I couldn't find a video matching that description, the only thing similar was the extended version of "get buck in here" which was a text book video, no in ya face adverts, please paste in here in the file name.
 
Wait, am I the only one with this video? I don't know how to do all that paste stuff. The video is "Yeah vs Get Buck In Here" - Usher w Luda and Lil Jon. I just looked at it again, in case I was suffering from one of those drug flashbacks.

As stated, the guy running this has been very responsive, and quick to respond to all emails I have sent. I will talk to him before I make any decision.
