Topic: 7600gt failing to start at bootup

My XFX 7600GT Video card radomly fails to start about 50% time changed psu to 420w unit claiming 18A on +12v rail Checked plugs voltages are vcore =1.64v,+3.3v=3.37,+5v=5.05,+12v=12.22v,DDR=2.49v,AGP=1.48v, tryed resetting cmos found seems start ok at1.300Mhz but starts to give problems at 2.160Mhz which is the standard speed for this Barton 3000+ processor. My Xabre AG 400T8-64 starts fine never any problems. The 7600gt works great with virtual dj when it starts. Any help appriated in solving this problem.
My MB is a soyo kt400 running 2x 512mb ram.

it seems an overheat ... but also maybe your XFX 7600GT needs to go to warranty.

I agree, it might be faulty or it can be not compatible with your mobo, which is very rare these days. If you can, try it on some other motherboard.
